Jennifer Garner and her 11-year-old son, Samuel, enjoyed a sporty mother-son date on Sunday by sitting courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors game.
The actress kept it casual in a grey sweater, black jeans and boots, while Samuel supported the Warriors by wearing a blue Stephen Curry tee and matching hoodie.
Despite his allegiance to the Warriors, Samuel sported sneakers honouring Curry and the Lakers’ LeBron James.
This isn’t Samuel’s first time attending an NBA game. He previously sat courtside with his dad, Ben Affleck, in December 2022. Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 to 2018 and are also the parents of daughters Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14.
Garner and Affleck have put on a united front multiple times over the years, from attending Seraphina’s musical event in January to watching Samuel’s baseball game the following month.
However, since her divorce, Garner is now in an on-again, off-again relationship with John Miller, while Affleck is married to Jennifer Lopez.
In a November 2022 Vogue interview, Lopez praised her husband’s “amazing” co-parenting dynamic with Garner, saying they “work well together.”
Garner, who separated from Affleck in 2015, is no longer “worried” about remaining amicable with the “Argo” star while raising their children. As she clarified to “Today” show viewers in March 2021, “When our kids get married, we’ll dance…We’ll boogaloo and have a great time.”
