Gareth Train expresses conspiracy beliefs before Wieambilla shooting

The owner of the rural farm where two young police officers and an innocent neighbor were slain is said to have been a conspiracy theorist who thought Princess Diana was murdered as a “blood sacrifice” and that the Port Arthur massacre was an inside operation.

The shooting deaths of Gareth Train, his wife Stacey, and the brother of the school administrator Nathaniel occurred on Monday night. Daily Mail Australia has discovered a string of delusional postings made online under the identity of Gareth Train.

A Queensland Police team visited the family’s property at about 4.30 p.m. to look into the disappearance of Nathaniel, a well-respected head teacher who had not been seen or heard from since December 2021. The three family members, who were heavily armed and dressed in camouflage, opened fire on the team.

Police officers Matthew Arnold, 26, and Rachel McCrow, 29, were shot and murdered at the site. Alan Dare, 58, a witness, was also slain. Two other officers were able to flee, one from the building and the other into some bushes.

At about 10.30 p.m. local time, the Train trio was eventually murdered in a gunfight with specialized police personnel.

Gareth Train is said to have been quite active online, often posting strange hypotheses about important global events in the comments areas of niche news websites.

Gareth allegedly said in one outburst on an internet forum that the Australian government was to blame for the 1996 Port Arthur Massacre in Tasmania, which resulted in the deaths of 35 people.

This was a government psychological operation to disarm the Australian populace, he said in November 2020. “Anyone who followed the live media coverage at the time and was aware of the political lying build up understands that.”

Gareth had said that ‘chemical agents’ had been dumped over Australia only two months before, covering substantial portions of NSW, Victoria, and Queensland. He stated, “We are now being chemically influenced and poisoned on a global basis.”

His most absurd accusations were made in April of last year when he mentioned a “occult blood sacrifice” that he said was to blame for Princess Diana’s death and 9/11.

Most people, he said, “don’t agree that Princess Diana’s murder was an Occult blood sacrifice to spellbind,” or that 9/11 or the War machine were blood sacrifices.

“Occult blood sacrifice and occult money magick go hand in hand.” The term “occult” describes supernatural belief-based behaviors.

Additionally, according to Gareth, social media is “embedded with Lucifarian magic.”

He also published a message against vaccinations, and in another he discussed his feelings on Queensland, which he described to as the “evil lands.”

The finest place to be living free is despite the horrible roads, bad council, bad ice addicts, and awful young criminality.

Gareth abhorred the cops with a passion.

His brother, Nathaniel Train, on the other hand, was a well recognized educator who was praised by his peers for his work with kids, boosting standards and significantly enhancing test scores.

After coming from Innisfail East State School, where he had served as principal since 2011, he served as principal at Yorkeys Knob State School near Cairns for almost five years.

At Walgett Community College Primary School, he most recently served as executive principal.

According to a former coworker, “He made Yorkeys the top scoring NAPLAN school in far north Queensland,” Daily Mail Australia said on Tuesday.

Stacey Train was the Tara Shire State College’s dean of curriculum as well as an instructor.

She also sought to represent the Queensland Teachers Union chapter in Western Downs.

The Monday gunfire also wounded two other police officers.

Constable Randall Kirk, a 28-year-old father of a young child and a pregnant wife, was wounded in the leg but was able to flee.

Keely Brough, 28, managed to flee and hide in a bush. As the shooters lit the bush on fire to smoke her out, she sent frantic text messages to loved ones while preparing for the worst.

Later, she was saved by a tactical police expert squad that had rushed to the spot.

Before two disguised shooters, Alan Dare, who lives on a neighboring property and came outside to investigate the disturbance, was also shot.

It was a wonder the two policemen survived, Queensland Police Commissioner Katarina Carroll said at a news conference on Tuesday.

In the worst possible situations, “they heroically did everything they could to rescue their colleagues,” she added.
