Former Premier League player arrested in Ireland after £4,000 worth of cocaine discovered in his car

According to reports, a former Premier League player was detained in Ireland when cocaine worth £4,000 was discovered in his vehicle.

Last night in the Crumlin neighbourhood of Dublin, the ex-footballer was reportedly apprehended after a vehicle pursuit with police.

The Irish Mirror said that the player was freed from the Crumlin Garda Station after being detained for drug possession and reckless driving.

A file will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
