Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya: “I’m grateful for the opportunity from Sekhukhune United”

Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, a former defender for Kaizer Chiefs, is happy to have joined Sekhukhune United after being released by Amakhosi last month.

Ntiya-Ntiya was one of 10 players at Naturena who were deemed surplus to requirements prior to the 2022–23 season.

Sekhukhune United stated earlier this week that the 25-year-old Ntiya-Ntiya, who had been on trial at the team, had been signed as a new player.

Victor Letsoalo and Tashreeq Morris’ arrivals on the same day were also confirmed by Babina Noko.

Ntiya-Ntiya was disappointed by his limited playing time at Kaizer Chiefs after making just nine appearances for the Glamour Boys in two years.

Ntiya-Ntiya said, “I’m grateful for the opportunity from Sekhukhune United and what people can expect from me is to work hard so that we put the team in a better position this season”.

Last season’s DStv Premiership final rankings showed Sekhukhune United in 11th place.

On Saturday, August 6, at 20:00, they will face Maritzburg United to kick off their 2022/23 campaign.
