The British Foreign Office has cautioned that Vladimir Putin’s troop mobilization and grave nuclear threats constitute a “worrisome escalation” that must be “taken extremely seriously.”

Facing rising pressure for his disastrous invasion of Ukraine, the Russian leader lashed out today, declaring that he is not bluffing about the use of nuclear weapons.

Putin stated in a national address, ‘If there is a threat to the territorial integrity of our country, we will use all available means to safeguard our people, and I am not bluffing.

Those attempting to blackmail us with nuclear weapons should be aware that we can turn the tables on them.

Foreign Office minister Gillian Keegan acknowledged that the West is “not in control” of the dictator, but urged calm despite the terrible warnings.

Foreign Office minister Gillian Keegan (above) confessed the West is “not in charge” of the dictator.

She told Sky News, “Some of the rhetoric towards the conclusion was extremely alarming, and we would advise calm.”The Russian leader lashed out today, facing increasing pressure for his botched invasion of Ukraine, and said he is 'not bluffing' about the use of nuclear weapons

The Chichester representative added, “It’s something we should take very seriously because, well, we’re not in charge.”

I’m not certain he’s in charge either. Obviously, this is an escalation, and the Russian people will now be recruited into this conflict.’

Today, Putin also declared the partial mobilization of his military reserves and the holding of referendums in the occupied regions of Ukraine to incorporate them into Russia.A view from the abandoned and damaged market area in the city after it was regained from Russian forces, in Kupiansk

Western leaders, who are currently convening in New York for a United Nations session, have already stated that they will not recognize the results of the referendums, and Ukraine has promised to continue fighting to liberate its occupied regions.

Keegan said, ‘These are Putin’s lies, and he continues to misrepresent the situation in Ukraine.

It’s an unauthorized conflict in Ukraine. This is Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. Naturally, we will continue to support Ukraine, as will all of our NATO friends.

Facing rising pressure for his bungled invasion of Ukraine, the Russian leader lashed out today and stated that he is not bluffing about the use of nuclear weapons.

“The Ukrainian populace, you know, receives the same message. We are there, we are on your side, and we will assist you as much as possible.’

She emphasized that the United Kingdom will “certainly continue to support Ukraine,” a message that will be delivered by Liz Truss at a United Nations session in New York.

The Prime Minister will guarantee that next year’s military funding to Ukraine will equal or exceed the £2.3 billion provided in 2022.

Ben Wallace, the secretary of defense, described Putin’s actions as an acknowledgement that his plan was failing.

Mr. Wallace stated, “President Putin’s violation of his own vows not to mobilize portions of the populace and unlawful annexation of portions of Ukraine are admissions that his invasion is failing.”

He and his defense minister have sent tens of thousands of their own compatriots to their deaths with inadequate equipment and poor leadership.

No amount of threats or propaganda can conceal the reality that Ukraine is winning this battle, the international community is united, and Russia is becoming a pariah on the international stage.

The British ambassador to Ukraine, Melinda Simmons, tweeted: “Watched Putin’s speech. He continues to refuse to comprehend Ukraine. Partial mobilization and false referendums have little effect on this fundamental shortcoming.

Putin chose to threaten the free world after being backed into a corner and faced the potential failure of his so-called “special military operation.”

The delay of the address by 13 hours overnight fuelled rumors of a coup within the Kremlin. But the Russian leader eventually arrived to deliver his message in the early hours of Wednesday, very much alive and in power.

Putin’s speech was typical of him. In it, he attempted to rewrite history to portray the West and NATO as the aggressor, claiming that they had forced Ukraine into a conflict with Russia, despite having ordered the invasion of the country just seven months prior.

Despite abundant proof of Russian massacres of civilians, torture, indiscriminate shelling, and other crimes on the battlefield, he maintained that Russia had no alternative but to wage a ‘pre-emptive war’ to ‘defend’ the Ukrainian populace.

He emphasized that Moscow’s objective remained the complete liberation of the Donbass region and its people, whom he described as ‘hostages of the Kiev administration’

To secure victory, he vowed that beginning today, Russia’s military reserves and veterans will be conscripted into the army.

In addition to Donetsk and Luhansk, which make up the Donbas, referendums will be place in Zaporizhia and Kherson, which are also seized by Russia.

He then said, ‘Our country also has a variety of defense capabilities, some of which are more advanced than those of NATO nations.’

This is not a bluff: when the territorial integrity of our nation is threatened, we will employ all available means to defend Russia and our people.

After humiliatingly routing Putin’s forces to the east of Kharkiv and recapturing a swath of territory, Ukraine is planning a series of referendums, with the despot’s friends, propagandists, and political hardliners clamoring for an escalation amid calls for the president’s resignation.

“Russian citizens can rest assured that the territorial integrity of our nation, our independence, and our liberty will be protected by any available means.”

Those attempting to blackmail us with nuclear weapons should be aware that the wind could blow in their direction.

He cautioned, “This is no bluff.”

He claimed he was responding to warnings from unspecified high-ranking NATO officials over the potential use of nuclear weapons against Russia.

Putin made it plain that when he refers to Russian land, he means the occupied regions of Ukraine where he will hold phony referendums on joining the Kremlin empire in the coming days.

In a prerecorded message, he informed Russians, “I find it necessary to take the following action.”

To safeguard our Motherland, its sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

To protect the safety of our people and those residing in liberated territory.

“I deem it necessary to endorse the Ministry of Defense and General Staff’s proposal to declare partial mobilization in Russia.”

I reiterate: we are discussing partial mobilization.

Therefore, only current reservists would be called to active duty.

Priority would be given to those who have served in the military and have suitable army speciality and experience.

Those who are drafted will be required to complete military training.

Putin stated, “Only individuals who are now in the reserve, and above all, those who have served in the Armed Forces, have particular military specialties and appropriate expertise, will be drafted.”

‘Those drafted will receive further military training prior to being assigned to their units, taking into consideration the experience of a special military operation.’

In anticipation of Putin’s statements at the United Nations last night, Western leaders stated that they would not recognize the results of any “fake” referendums in Ukraine.

The Russians are free to do what they choose. Nothing will change,’ claimed Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Tuesday as world leaders arrived for the United Nations General Assembly.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has stated that the country’s attitude has not changed, calling the referendums “some nonsense.”

Later, he reiterated his position by tweeting, “False’referendums’ will not change anything.” Neither will any form of hybrid “mobility,”

Russia has been and continues to be an illegal occupier of Ukrainian territory. Ukraine has every right to liberate its regions and will continue to do so regardless of what Russia says.

If the strategy for the referendum weren’t so terrible, French President Emmanuel Macron said, it would be humorous.

He referred to Russia’s invasion as a “return to a new period of imperialism and colonies” and warned that inactivity may lead to the “destruction of the international order, without which peace is impossible.”

It is not necessary to choose between East and West, or North and South. It is an issue of responsibility,’ he remarked, referring to the UN Charter.

In the meantime, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that the globe was “facing a new fragmentation” after years of optimism following the end of the Cold War and the reunification of his own country.

After years of optimism following the conclusion of the Cold War and his nation’s reunification, Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that the globe was “facing a new fragmentation.”

Scholz stated that President Vladimir Putin, who invaded Ukraine in February, will only abandon his imperialist goals and war if he learns he cannot prevail.

He stated, “We stand resolutely by the side of those under attack, for the protection of the lives and independence of the Ukrainian people, and for the protection of our international order.”

And Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida informed the assembly that the credibility of the United Nations was in jeopardy due to Russia’s invasion, a permanent member of the Security Council.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a violation of the concept and values of the United Nations’ charter… It must never be tolerated, added Kishida
