Finland’s PM Marin Sanna parties with celebrities

After a video of her wild partying with famous pals surfaced, Finland’s gorgeous Prime Minister Sanna Marin denied using drugs and stated she has nothing to hide.

The 36-year-old world leader seems to be in good spirits in the video, which appears to take place in a private residence as the group dances for a cell phone camera.

People in the video could be heard shouting about ‘flour,’ so Mikko Karna, an MP from Marin’s coalition partner the Centre Party, pushed her to submit to a voluntary drug test. This morning at a press conference, Marin denied using narcotics and stated that she had “nothing to conceal or hide.”

The prime minister stated, “I have danced, sung, celebrated, and acted lawfully.” She claimed that she had not consumed excessive alcohol.

She also criticized the person who leaked the videos, which she claimed dated back a few weeks. Marin stated, “I had faith that the films would not be made public because they were published at a private event and are therefore private.” It’s unfortunate that they were publicized.

According to Finnish news source Iltalehti, “flour” is a prevalent slang term for cocaine in Finland, and partygoers can be heard shouting in Finnish about “the flour gang.”

Someone can be heard saying early in the video, “dang, this is going to be a fantastic feeling!”

Marin, in response to the media, stated that she did not know why the ‘flour gang’ was referenced or what it alludes to.

Marin responded that she did not know whether anything criminal had occurred and that it was “hardly a police concern” when asked if the police should examine the incident.

Marin elaborated on the tumultuous evening by stating that it had occurred in two separate apartments with less than twenty individuals. Also, they visited two bars.

The embarrassing footage was released only a few months after Marin was forced to apologize for clubbing until 4 a.m. after coming into contact with a Covid-19 patient.

She was criticized for missing the text message instructing her to isolate herself because she left her work phone, which, as prime minister, she was required to carry at all times, at home.

The video appears to show Finland’s prime minister and her group of famous pals entirely unguarded, as it was stolen from the Instagram stories of a private account.

Finnish singer Alma and her sister Anna, rapper Petri Nygard, TV host Tinni Wikstrom, photographer and influencer Janita Autio, radio anchor Karoliina Tuominen, and members of her own Social Democratic party can be seen in the film.

Those in Finland who deem the humorous film to be unsuitable for a world leader, especially during a time of national emergency when Finland is ending its neutrality to join NATO and contending with an aggressive Russia, have criticized the video.

This week, the German tabloid Bild branded Marin “the coolest politician in the world” for her laid-back and unpretentious leadership style, which some opponents have criticized as “careless.”

In the video, the group is heard singing “f*** it feels so good” and shouting “jauhojengi,” which is Finnish for “flour.”

A man appears to swish an alcoholic beverage past the camera as the beat drops and Marin and her pals dance furiously.

The Finnish member of parliament for Marin’s coalition partner, the Centre Party, Mikko Karna, stated that it would be prudent for Marin to submit to a drug test and publicize the results.

Marin denied her drug use at a press conference on Thursday morning and stated that she had nothing to conceal or hide.

The prime minister stated, “I have danced, sung, celebrated, and acted lawfully.” Marin stated that she was not a heavy drinker.

In addition, she attacked the leaker. Marin stated, “I had faith that the films would not be made public because they were published at a private event and are therefore private.” It’s unfortunate that they were publicized.

Despite the criticism directed at the young prime minister, there are many who believe the video could offer her a boost in popularity for acting as many young people do.

In 2019, at the age of 34, Marin became one of the youngest world leaders and the youngest prime minister in Finland’s history.

In addition to Katrin Jakobsdottir of Iceland, Magdalena Andersson of Sweden, Mette Frederiksen of Denmark, and Kaja Kallas of Estonia, she is part of a growing trend of Scandinavian women in leadership positions.

The all-female leaders are from Scandinavian and Baltic countries that are confronting Russian warmonger Vladimir Putin at a time of heightened international tension.

As the newest prong in the economic war being waged against Putin, Marin and her Estonian counterpart, Kaja Kallas, have called for an EU-wide ban on visas for Russian nationals.

Finland is already intending to reduce the amount of visas it gives to Russians, as the land border between the two countries is one of the few entrance sites for Russians into Europe following the closure of airspace by a number of Western nations. In December, while Omicron rocked Europe, Marin was spotted enjoying a night out with friends at the Butchers nightclub.

However, hours before she had tested positive for Covid after being in regular contact with her Foreign Minister. Marin initially stated that she did not require isolation because she was completely immunized.

However, because she had left her prime minister’s phone at home, she was unaware that her administration had instructed her to remain at home.

People questioned what she would have done in the event of an emergency after she received severe criticism for this error.

In a Facebook post, she stated, “I deeply regret not knowing that I needed to do that.”

She was photographed drinking Heineken beer and dancing at the nightclub at midnight with her husband Markus Raikkonen and their pals.

A local newspaper was told by an eyewitness that [Marin] sat with her friends and appeared to be having fun. I observed that Sanna was rather perturbed by others staring at her.

At the conclusion of the evening, the party surrounded the Prime Minister to make her more comfortable.

After the nightclub incident, the leading morning daily in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter, criticized Marin’s Instagram lifestyle and celebrity friendships.

Saga Cavalli, a columnist, claimed that Marin “seems to enjoy surrounding herself with celebrities and enjoys posing on social media” and termed it “celebrity ass licking.”

In Sweden, similar “celebrity ass licking” has been mostly overlooked, or at least kept secret, he shakes his head.
