On September 12, Bangkok, Thailand, incredible CCTV footage shows a venomous snake leaping from its hiding place and attacking an administrative assistant as she walked along a hallway in a government office.
The python sank its fangs into the woman’s foot, biting through her flimsy-appearing flat shoes, before fiercely rearing up to attack her.
Fearing for her life, the office worker fiercely kicked the snake away while her coworkers recoiled in shock and panic, and after a brief fight, she was able to escape.
Later, the woman was observed writhing in pain as she hobbled away from the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation attack scene.
Photographs obtained after the assault revealed a significant wound on her foot.

The terrified office worker urgently attempted to kick the snake away as her terrified coworkers recoiled in shock and horror.
The woman was able to release herself and limp to safety, but photographs taken after the attack revealed that her foot was severely injured.
The woman who was bitten by a python works for the Department of Sericulture and was merely in the facility to visit a friend, according to a government spokeswoman. She is currently safe and has returned to her residence in the province of Khon Kaen.
It is unlikely that the snake belongs to the department, nor was it brought to the wildlife clinic.
