Federal University Dutse (FUD) school fees schedule for the 2022/2023 academic session

Dear undergraduate students of the Federal University Dutse (FUD), we would like to inform you that the institution’s management has released the school fees schedule for the 2022/2023 academic session. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, has recently announced a reduction in the registration fees reviewed by the university, in response to feedback from stakeholders during an interactive session. While stakeholders understood the reasons for the increment, they appealed to the management to reduce the fees for the benefit of the general public.

The management has also approved the payment of the fees in two instalments for the convenience of students who cannot pay at once. Students can pay 60 percent at the start of the first semester and 40 per cent at the start of the second semester.

Please find below the school fees schedule for each faculty. The fees differ for fresh students and returning students, with returning final-year students paying slightly more in some faculties.

FACULTY OF SCIENCE: Fresh Student Only – 139,000.00; Returning Student – 104,000.00; Returning Student (Final Year) – 109,000.00

FACULTY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES: Fresh Student Only – 135,000.00; Returning Student – 100,000.00; Returning Student (Final Year) – 105,000.00

FACULTY OF ARTS AND SOCIAL SCI/FAC. OF MGT SCI./FAC. EDUCATION: Fresh Student Only – 114,000.00; Returning Student – 79,000.00; Returning Student (Final Year) – 84,000.00

FACULTY OF COMPUTING: Fresh Student Only – 128,000.00; Returning Student – 93,000.00; Returning Student (Final Year) – 98,000.00

COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND ALLIED MEDICAL SCIENCES FACULTY OF CLINICAL SCIENCES (MBBS): Fresh Student Only – 155,000.00; Returning Student (Pre-Clinical Level 2-3) – 140,000.00; Returning Student (Clinical Level 4-5) – 155,000.00; Returning Student (Final Year) – 170,000.00

FACULTY OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES (ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY): Fresh Student Only – 145,000.00; Returning Student – 125,000.00; Returning Student (Final Year) – 140,000.00

In addition, students in the university’s accommodation will be required to pay hostel maintenance fees of 40,000.00.
