Kestell lismor district mass murder

In a separate event, the Lismor Farm District, Kestell, was the scene of a mass farm murder, and the Free State police began a manhunt for the suspects.

On Friday, July 15, their residence was discovered to be housing the bodies of seven farmworkers.

Six women and one young guy were among the victims, according to spokesperson Brigadier Motantsi Makhele.

The dead remains of the farmworkers were allegedly discovered by the farm owner on Friday in their home on the property.

The victims were “brutally shot and slain by unknown suspect(s),” according to Makhele.

At this point, it is unclear why so many people were killed on the farm.

The police spokeswoman stated, “The names of the deceased and their ages are not yet known and could not be revealed since their next-of-kin has not yet formally identified them.”

The Free State police commissioner, Lieutenant-General Baile Motswenyane, commanded the immediate mobilisation of “maximum resources” to find the suspects.
