INGREDIENTS

  • 250 g flour

  • 100 g sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • salt

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 litre full-cream milk

  • 50 ml rum

  • 200 g dried prunes

  • 30 ml butter

METHOD

  • To prepare a dessert, start by mixing the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Then, add the eggs to the mixture and stir until the ingredients are well combined.
  • Gradually add the milk, rum, and vanilla ingredients to the mixture while continuously mixing it.
  • Next, take an oven dish and grease it with butter to prevent the mixture from sticking to the dish.
  • Arrange the prunes on the base of the dish, then pour the runny mixture over the prunes.
  • Make sure the mixture is spread evenly over the prunes.
  • Preheat the oven to 220°C and bake the mixture in the oven for 50 minutes.
  • Once it’s baked, remove the dish from the oven and let it cool.
