LEICESTER VS TOTTENHAM
James Maddison and Harry Kane are the obvious selections in this scenario. Maddison scored in his most recent match for Leicester, as well as in each of his last two versus Spurs. Sunday’s game-winning goal scored by Spurs striker Harry Kane against Manchester City made him just the third player in Premier League history to score 200 goals. He has scored 18 of those goals against the Foxes alone. The last six Premier League encounters between these teams have produced 23 goals, so include both of these veterans in your Fantasy Premier League lineup.
The Cherries have not won in six Premier League matches and have scored only once in that span. With 10 draws this season and four in their previous five games, Newcastle have become the league’s specialists in ties. Still, you should draft Nick Pope of Newcastle since he enjoys keeping a clean sheet and Bournemouth is terrible at scoring goals.
MAN CITY VS ASTON VILLA
You have likely cut Erling Halaand from your fantasy team due to his recent lack of production. Get him back in. The law of averages predicts that he will score this weekend, given that City are a wounded animal and Aston Villa have a history of conceding goals against the champions. Remember that last year’s corresponding contest finished in a 3-3 tie.
LIVERPOOL VS EVERTON
Liverpool are currently not themselves. The Reds have lost three of their previous four Premier League matches, while drawing with Chelsea 0-0. In this sample, they have only scored once. They have conceded three goals in three consecutive away league contests for the first time since November and December 1993. Toffees attacker Dominic Calvert-Lewin and in-form creative midfielder Alex Iwobi will be salivating.
