The family of Alexander Kareem, an innocent student tragically killed in a case of mistaken identity in west London, remains determined to bring his killers to justice.
On the third anniversary of his death, a £20,000 reward has been offered to encourage new leads in the investigation.
Alexander Kareem, the brother of a serving Metropolitan Police officer, was shot near his Shepherd’s Bush home on June 8, 2020, while returning from a local shop on an e-scooter.
Mistaken Identity and Investigation Details:
The police believe that Alexander was mistakenly targeted by someone inside a stolen white Range Rover, which had fake license plates.
The vehicle was later found burnt out three miles away, while 9mm ammunition was discovered at the crime scene.

Despite the initial arrest of nine individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, they were subsequently released and informed that no further action would be taken against them.
