The jury, which was comprised of members from several institutions and areas of the cosmetics and fragrances business, assessed organisations, items, components, and achievements in relation to morality, the environment, and CSR (CSR).

Felipe San Juan, Senior R&D Scientist at Eurofragance, was presented with the prise for the best raw material at a live ceremony that took place at the H10 Metropolitan hotel in Barcelona.

The Senior R&D Scientist expressed his gratitude for the honour for the development of L’Ame du BoisTM, a recent product that was the result of three years of labour.

Diana March, Global Technical Compliance Manager at Eurofragance, who chairs the business’ sustainability committee, was in charge of accepting the third place prise in the category “Company Most Committed to Sustainability.

“In particular, I want to congratulate the sustainability team for their work and contributions to our organisation.

I want to thank everyone who helped make this award possible, March added.

Despite having a broad commitment to sustainability, Eurofragance focuses its efforts on four key areas: safety, biodiversity, community, and resources.

Its innovation teams are constantly looking for ways to combine efficiency and sustainability in order to produce perfumes with components like L’Ame du BoisTM that are respectful and secure.

The best sustainable raw material is L’Ame du BoisTM.
Eurofragance introduced LAme du BoisTM, a new, exclusive ingredient created from naturally recycled sawdust, as its first product last year.

In keeping with the current genderless trend in perfumery, this new raw material fills a void in the olfactory family of woody notes and has a gender-neutral olfactory profile.

In order to create LAme du BoisTM, it was first necessary to purify the wood component naturally in order to remove the unnecessary and parasitic molecules while preserving the fragrantly intriguing ones.

Over the course of several months, this purification process was repeated until a component with an unexpected but highly desirable perfumistic character that preserved the soul of wood was found.

For the creation of specific fragrances in fine perfumery, home care, and personal care, LAme du BoisTM is used.

This powerful blend complements the other elements in the scent mix and brings out the best in each one of them, especially those belonging to the woody olfactory family.

This invention marks a significant turning point for Eurofragance, a well-known midsize business that competes with the biggest perfume houses.

Given that the ingredient was produced by upcycling garbage, it represents a significant advancement in the company’s dedication to innovation and sustainability.

Both prizes, which were given out at the Green Beauty Gala, honour Eurofragance’s efforts to promote sustainability and protect the environment.

young multinational is dedicated to meeting the current difficulties facing the sector and incorporating sustainability into its business philosophy and decision-making processes in order to live up to its tagline, “Making Scents, Caring for People and Planet.”
