Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa plays GBV victim in “Four Walls”

Enhle Mbali Mlaotshwa’s career is jam-packed with one project after another.

Currently, she appears in the drama series “Good Men” on SABC1 and the first original fantasy series on Showmax, “Blood Psalms.”

“Four Walls,” a short-run limited series that was revealed in September, is one of the actress’ upcoming ventures.

In “Four Walls,” Mlotshwa portrays a frustrated married nurse named Grace Molotsi. Her residence is then raided by two criminals on the run from the police following a botched cash-in-transit heist.

The defenseless woman is kidnapped by the thugs while they prepare their next move. Grace possesses her own secret, which the males are unaware of.

In the first photographs of the concert revealed to the public, viewers can see Mlotshwa entirely changed into character.

Her face is bruised and swollen, and she appears to have been through a great deal.

She described the part as follows: “Grace was an immensely enjoyable role for me as an actor.

“I was responsible for ensuring that the stories of numerous women were portrayed in an accurate and uplifting manner. I had to assure that Grace thought, felt, walked, and breathed like a victim of the most extreme form of GBV,” she explained.

She said, “Also bringing it home and letting people into the homes of women who endure such abuse and the desperation that accompanies it so they may feel some sort of empathy and begin conversations that lead to genuine change in a country rife with heartbreaking statistics of GBV.” “.

Gift Leotlela, Terrence Ngwila as Lefa and Xolani, and the great Isaac Matseke Zulu as the voice of Ace can be anticipated by viewers.
