Snarky Elon Musk has issued an apology for abruptly terminating more than a dozen Twitter employees who attacked him over an internal messaging system.

The sacked tech employees were notified via email that they had been “terminated immediately” for “violating corporate policy.”

They apparently made negative comments about the new CEO on the company’s Slack chat system, which led to their termination by the new billionaire boss.

And the new CEO of Twitter himself acknowledged the firings, stating that he ‘would like to apologize for termination these geniuses.’

Platformer, a news source that focuses on social networks, said that “about 20 workers have been sacked over their Slack posts.”

Elon Musk confirmed that he sacked the Twitter employees after informing them through email that their employment was “terminated immediately.”

One former employee tweeted a screenshot of an email from Twitter HR that read, “We regret to tell you that your job has been terminated effective immediately.”

“Your previous actions have been in violation of corporate policy. Our operations staff will contact you with debarkation instructions.’

Musk, who finalized a $42 billion acquisition of the social media network in October, reportedly dismissed one employee via Twitter.

The content of the criticism posted by terminated employees on Slack is not immediately apparent.

On Tuesday, a former employee tweeted that they were “formally sacked by Twitter.”

According to reports, software developer Yao Yue was among those who attacked Musk on Slack.

“After 12 incredible years and 3 weeks of craziness, I’m officially fired from Twitter,” the author said. I never anticipated staying this long, nor did I anticipate being so relieved to leave.

“I have numerous tales to tell. To my fellow (ex-)tweeps, however. #LoveWhereYouWorked’

According to additional stories on the alleged firings, some of those let go were’respected software engineers,’ including one who was informed of their dismissal for’recent behavior.’

Monday, Elon Musk fired software engineer Eric Frohnhoefer in front of the public.

The altercation began when Musk posted an apology for the speed of the Twitter app on Android smartphones, followed by a message from Frohnhoefer expressing disagreement with Musk.

Musk was soon tagged in Frohnhoefer’s tweet by other users, at which point the new Twitter CEO stated frankly, “He’s fired.”

Monday, Frohnhoefer’s Slack account within Twitter was inaccessible, according to sources. Twitter has not verified whether or whether Frohnhoefer was fired.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Frohnhoefer worked for Twitter for eight years. He also tweeted a photo of a locked laptop screen with the caption “Guess it’s official now.”

Musk has already began laying off dozens of Twitter employees after promising to fire up to 75 percent of his workforce.

Frohnhoefer resigned after Musk wrote an apparently benign tweet regarding the Twitter app’s speed in different nations on Sunday afternoon.

‘Also, I’d like to apologize for the fact that Twitter is extremely slow in many regions. App is performing >1000 badly grouped RPCs to render a home timeline!’ he wrote.

Frohnhoefer, a member of Twitter’s Android team, appeared offended by Musk’s remark.

He tweeted, “Having spent 6 years working on Twitter for Android, I can say this is incorrect.”

Musk answered by asserting that Twitter was slow on Android and asking Frohnhoefer what he did during his tenure at the social media giant to remedy the issue.

Twitter is really sluggish on Android. What have you done to correct this?’ he asked.

Frohnhoefer responded with a laundry list of things he’s accomplished at work and his estimate of what may be causing the slowdowns.

Monday, a third user tagged Musk in a series of tweets and stated, “with this kind of mentality, you probably don’t want him on your team.”

Musk answered within an hour with the declaration, ‘he’s fired.’

Since Musk completed the $44 billion acquisition of the social media network, Twitter has been involved in numerous scandals.

Soon after the sale was finalized, he fired the majority of the company’s full-time employees by email, and then he let go of thousands of contractors, hollowing out teams that combat misinformation.

Shortly after the layoffs, he requested the return of dozens of staff.

In addition, he launched a $8 membership service for the platform’s blue checkmarks, but was forced to suspend it after a flood of imposters posing as him or his items appeared.

On Monday, he spoke to attendees at the B20 summit in Brazil, which intended to bring together business leaders and international leaders prior to Tuesday’s Group of 20 summit on the tropical island.

Musk appeared via video transmission at the meeting. When asked how it felt to become a media magnate, he appeared to mourn and brush off the turmoil that followed his acquisition.

“It’s a little awkward,” he said. Twitter is somewhat media, but it is not quite media. It is a medium rather than media.

There is no way to make everyone happy, that much is certain.
