Elon Musk fines Kanye West for tweeting a swastika-in-a-Star-of-David image

Kanye West has finally reached the breaking point with Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, after a day that saw him make some of his most obscene comments to date, including support for Nazis and Adolf Hitler.

West’s account was once again stopped on Thursday night by Musk, who just a month ago after taking over the firm restored the rapper’s previously suspended Twitter account.

The self-described “Chief Twit” was replying to a tweet in which West published a picture that seemed to display a Nazi swastika within a Star of David, a sacred symbol in Judaism, claiming it would be the insignia for his prospective 2024 presidential campaign.

West’s account was first disabled after being locked for 12 hours, prohibiting him from tweeting. It’s not apparent whether the suspension is momentary or ongoing.

You’ve gone too far, I’m sorry. According to screenshots the rapper uploaded before the ban went into force, Musk referred to the tweet in a text conversation to West and said, “This is not love.

Ye, who is now legally known as West, said, “Who made you the judge.”

After Twitter removed West’s offensive comment and briefly suspended his account, Musk tweeted, “I did my best.”

Despite this, he once again broke the law by inciting violence. The account will be put on hold.

A little while later, Musk tweeted “FAFO,” which stands for “f*** around, and find out.”

Then, West’s account vanished from Twitter and displayed the message “Account suspended,” which is Twitter’s phrase for lifetime bans.

The duration of West’s Twitter ban was not immediately apparent. A request for comment from DailyMail.com was not immediately answered by Twitter.

Some people noticed that the swastika-and-star graphic West tweeted looked to be similar to the insignia for Raalism, a UFO religion that holds that sophisticated technology from aliens was used to create humans.

Nevertheless, any interpretation of the sign was severely hampered by West’s lengthy remarks supporting Nazis only hours previously.

Musk, who paid $44 billion for Twitter last month, has previously referred to himself as a “free speech absolutist” and promised to keep moderation to a minimal.

Musk quickly restored West’s account after the takeover, which had been suspended due to the rapper’s anti-Semitic threats and slurs, including his promise to “go death con 3 on Jewish people.”

Although he believes in free expression, Elon Musk has his own restrictions. Last week, he promised to uphold a Twitter ban on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his website Infowars.

In reference to Jones, who has previously maintained that the 2012 Sandy Hook elementary school massacre was a hoax, Musk added, “I have no pity for anybody who would exploit the murder of children for wealth, politics, or celebrity.”

Only a few hours after appearing on Infowars with Jones and well-known white nationalist Nick Fuentes, West was temporarily suspended from Twitter.

West made comments that sparked considerable controversy in a lengthy, meandering interview with Jones when he lauded Hitler, declared his “passion” for the Nazis, and refuted the Holocaust.

By replying to a tweet from West’s account remembering the odd interview, Musk at first gave the impression that he was ready to become involved in the debate.

During the podcast, Jones—who is blocked on Twitter—sent a tweet from West’s own account that said, “Jesus is King,” accompanied with a picture.

Jesus taught compassion, kindness, and forgiveness, Musk retorted. Turning the other cheek used to make me feel weak and silly, but now I see how foolish I was to not recognize its great wisdom.

It’s not clear whether Musk’s pondering on “turning the other cheek” was directed at West, Jones, who signed the printed tweet in the response shot, or just a general life philosophy.

However, West’s ugly and extended rant glorifying Hitler and the Nazis sparked new debate regarding Musk’s handling of Twitter content moderation and prompted requests for the ban on West to be lifted.

In a tweet addressed to Musk, Jonathan Greenblatt, the head of the Anti-Defamation League, asked: “Is this someone you still want to cordially welcome back to the platform?” Right now, Jews need friends, not enablers.

It is obvious that you are a violent antisemite if you say you “adore Hitler,” “love the Nazis,” and spend all of your time with a white supremacist, according to Greenblatt. His remarks on InfoWars today are not simply abhorrent and disgusting; they also put Jews at risk.

Nobody cares about the ADL, West said in reference to Greenblatt’s group on Thursday’s Infowars broadcast. They’ve been used up.

Obviously, we don’t care any longer, ADL. Nobody is interested. Jesus is king, so stop talking. said West.

Nick Fuentes, the young white nationalist West recently took along for a social outing with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, joined West on Infowars.

West said, “I see wonderful things in Hitler… every person has something of value that they contributed to the table, particularly Hitler,” while donning a cloth mask that covered his full face.

“I’m done with the categorization; everyone—especially Hitler—brought something valuable to the table.” I admire Hitler,” West said.

Cameras saw West enabling Jones to use his Twitter account to tweet in real-time on the live broadcast, despite the rapper wearing a mask during the whole performance.

Later, he disputed that Hitler had ordered the murder of six million Jews during the Holocaust and said that the Germans “had a pretty terrific leader at one time.”

He did not murder 6,000,000 Jews. West added, “That’s simply factually inaccurate,” in some ways his most anti-Semitic statement to date.

“I’m not trying to startle you,” I said. I like Hitler. The Holocaust did not really occur. There are many good things about Hitler,” he stated.

Even Jones, who is used to controversy, shown signs of discomfort at points throughout the program and made an effort to separate himself from West’s statements.

Jones emphasized that he did not support Hitler and once said, “The Nazis were thugs and did extremely horrible things.”

West said, “But they did nice things too,” refusing to back down. We need to cease constantly criticizing the Nazis. I like Nazis.
