Following an automobile accident, Dwayne Johnson’s mother is “doing fine.”
The actor posted a snapshot of the substantial damage to the passenger side of Ata Johnson’s vehicle on Instagram, along with the message that she will “survive and continue to be evaluated.”
The 50-year-old former professional wrestler continued, “This woman has endured lung cancer, a difficult marriage, a head-on collision with an intoxicated motorist, and an attempt at suicide.
He said, “She is a survivor in ways that make angels and miracles real.”
Following his thanks to the “caring and focused” Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department, Dwayne recommended his fans to “tightly” embrace their parents.
The “Black Adam” star said, “You never know when you’ll receive that dreaded 3 a.m. phone call.”
Dwayne, who remarked that he “has one parent left,” previously mourned his father Rocky Johnson, who died of a major heart attack at age 75 in January 2020.
“Dad, I wish I had one last opportunity to tell you I love you before you went over into the next world.
However, you were abruptly taken from me without warning,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Gone in an instant and never to return.”
Dwayne noted at the time that despite being “in pain,” he was focused on caring for his family and completing his business.
In the past, the actor has gifted Ata automobiles and houses.
Since Rocky’s death, Dwayne has lavished his mother with a Cadillac and a new home.
The “Ballers” actor told his Instagram followers after giving the 74-year-old with a home in Encino, California, last year, “When I was a child, I hated it when my mother cried, but now I’ll gladly accept her tears of joy.”
“I always say that if you have a good mother, you have a chance at becoming a good, caring person,” he elaborated in June 2022. “Let’s all give our mamas a big grateful squeeze.”
The “Tooth Fairy” actor has three daughters: Simone, 21, with ex-wife Dany Garcia, and Jasmine, 7, and Tiana, 4, with current wife Lauren Hashian.
