Jamie Oliver disclosed that his wife has been afflicted with lengthy Covid for two years.
In an interview with the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine, the 47-year-old celebrity chef discussed Jools’ ‘very terrifying’ fight with the ailment.
According to him, his 22-year-old wife had a difficult time after contracting the virus and is currently suffering from its long-term repercussions.
Oliver stated, “She’s been severely impacted by her Covid because it’s been so nasty and so long.”
She is acceptable, but not what she desires to be. It’s been two years, and she still finds it terrifying.’ As long Covid is a novel ailment that is still being explored, the couple has sought assistance from specialists, but they have been unable to resolve the pair’s concerns.

Long-term Covid use causes shortness of breath, exhaustion, loss of smell, brain fog, chest pain, heart palpitations, and nausea.
And they may persist for months or even years following the infection.
The Office of National Statistics estimates that about two million people in the United Kingdom are living with long Covid.
And 21% reported that their capacity to engage in day-to-day activities was ‘greatly impaired,’ while 380,000 reported that their Covid infection occurred at least two years ago.
Additionally, Oliver praised his wife and their path to success.
He stated, “Jools and I have been together since we were 18 years old.” We traveled to London with nothing but hopes and dreams.
Fortunately, we were able to establish our relationship before the chaos began. Then, we did it collectively. It was thrilling. However, he stated that there was a point when they believed they might be unable to have children due to Mrs. Oliver’s polycystic ovarian condition, one of the most frequent causes of female infertility.
He said, “When I initially began dating Jools, she said, “I’ll never be able to have children.” She developed ovarian polycysts. However, we now have five.”
They are the parents of Poppy, age 20, Daisy, age 19, Petal, age 13, Buddy, age 11, and River, age 6. The family resides in an Essex Tudor home worth £6 million. Oliver also asserted that raising adolescent girls is ‘difficult’ labor. “I haven’t written adolescent boys yet, but adolescent girls were quite challenging. I attempted to be a good father, and I would give myself a nine out of ten for my efforts,’ he said.

In 2019, Oliver’s restaurant empire collapsed, with 22 of his 25 Jamie’s Italian locations closing and the remaining three being sold.
One thousand workers were laid off, and he acknowledged to losing £25 million of his own money.
But the chef, who at the height of his glory was reported to be worth £200 million, stated he hopes to create another restaurant in the future.
The forthcoming release of his newest cookbook, One: Simple One-Pan Wonders, is dedicated to Mrs. Oliver.
He stated, “I have dedicated this to the wife, but she has not yet seen it.” That could possibly earn me brownie points.
