Doctor arrested after partner put Nanny cam in $2.7m kitchen

A Nanny cam was reportedly installed up in the couple’s $2.7 million kitchen by the dermatologist’s lover, who was jailed in California on suspicion of poisoning her spouse.

Video purports to show Yue ‘Emily’ Yu, 45, dousing her husband Jack Chen’s hot lemonade with Drano, a brand of drain cleaning, many times.

Before giving the police the video footage he claims supports his allegation, Chen, a radiologist, informed them he had fallen ill and had major injuries.

According to court filings acquired by the New York Post, Chen, who is now seeking a divorce after ten years of marriage, said Yu assaulted him and his two children for years, allegedly telling the kids to “go die.”

Chen noted in a court document as he requested a restraining order against his wife, “Emily will often use a Chinese expression that translates to “go die” when she gets angry and shouts at the kids.”

She also calls the kids “f***ing idiots,” “dumb a**holes,” “your mind has a problem,” “your head is ill,” and “get the f**k out of my way,” according to Chen.

Lt. Bill Bingham told DailyMail.com that Yu was detained outside of her Mission Viejo dermatologist clinic on Thursday evening about 6 p.m., which is around 15 miles from the couple’s Irvine, California, home.

According to Bingham, Chen told the Irvine Police Department that he was “being poisoned by his wife” and that he had “film proof to provide” when he phoned them earlier in the day on Thursday.

Bingham said that “our police studied the footage” before Yu was detained on suspicion of poisoning her spouse.

The spouse made quite severe claims, so according to Bingham, “we decided it was vital to take rapid investigative action on the matter based on the allegation.”

While police continue their investigations, Chen has been given a temporary restraining order against his wife even though Yu has not been charged.

The horrible crime has no known motivation. Yu’s work headshot has been taken off from the website of her workplace, the Mission Viejo-based Providence Healthcare organisation.

According to a spokeswoman, they were working with the police.

Yu and Chen, according to Chen, wed on July 4, 2012, a year after they first met.

After their son and daughter, who are now seven and eight years old, were born in 2013 and 2014, according to Chen, his wife’s conduct altered.

He also said that Yuqin ‘Amy’ Gu, Yu’s mother, also physically and verbally mistreated their kids.

According to Chen, “Emily and Amy began physically abusing [our son and daughter] at the age of two and escalated as they got older.”

“They are abusing me verbally and physically,” I said. He predicted that the ladies would refer to the kids as “f***ing dumb.”

Yu allegedly spanked Chen’s kid when she was three years old for wetting the bed. When her kid was two, Yu is also accused of hitting him in the head and arms.

Even after 11:00 p.m., he said, “she would wake the kids up when they fell asleep without permission, demand that [they] go to her room, close the door and make them scream.”

“At the conclusion, she sometimes would instruct the children to go before slamming the door behind them, making them sob outside the door.”

Yu reportedly used to call the kids “f***ing dumb” when they played piano after school, making them cry.

Bingham said that Chen’s symptoms started to appear after the alleged poisoning and became worse over the last month.

When he fell unwell, he said Chen did seek medical attention, but he was unable to say if a blood test confirmed the toxin in his circulation.

According on the integrity of the case, it seems that the poisoning took place gradually, Bingham stated.

Yu was questioned by police before being taken into custody at her workplace.

‘Yu was called by our investigators as she was leaving work. Detectives arrested her after speaking with her during their questioning.

Yue Yu was detained in accordance with a provision of California law, according to which she allegedly improperly inserted a poison or dangerous chemical into food, drink, medication, or pharmaceutical products. He continued:

According to Bingham, they have not found any evidence linking this event to Yu’s job, DailyMail.com reports.

“The motivation is still being looked into.” It seems that a husband and wife were involved in a domestic disturbance.

The husband admitted to police that he had set up surveillance footage to prove his suspicions that wife had been poisoning him.

While purposeful poisoning incidents are rare, Bingham told DailyMail.com that he has observed instances of “accidental poisoning among toddlers.”

In his 22 years of practise, he remarked, “This is a really uncommon and unique situation.”

In Irvine, California, the couple shared a $2.7 million property.

Irvine police officers executed a search warrant at the house after Yu’s detention.

Chen reportedly suffered serious injuries as a result of the assault, however he is now making a full recovery.

According to the Post, Yu’s attorney said that his client denied poisoning her husband or hurting him or their children.
