DJ Sbu: “I looked wealthy

DJ Sbu sits down with YouTuber and podcast host Penuel The Black Pen on a recent edition of “The Penuel Show” to explore the events that molded his life.

The DJ, whose true name is Sbusiso Leope, had been out of the spotlight for some time, and when photographs of him appearing “unkempt” surfaced on social media, the gossip mill went into overdrive, and he was criticized by social media trolls.

The DJ stated that he was doing well and that there were more pressing concerns in the world.

The popular DJ discussed his enterprises and business collaborations, including MoFaya Beverages, TS Records, Homegrown Farm & Radio, Massive Metro, Leadership 2020, Crypto University, and The Hustlers Corner, after earning his first PRISM award for his podcast “The Hustlers Corner SA.”

Sharing some amusing business advise, he remarked, “Many of the wealthy people you look up to, you sometimes wonder why they don’t drive Porsches or Mercedes. But you are aware of their achievements. They do not have a lot of spare cash.

“Many wealthy people invest their money; they do not have R10 million laying about or R2 million in the bank. The majority of them do not. They pay their own salary.

DJ Sbu remarked, “I’ve lived the lifestyle, I’ve traveled, I’ve driven all these amazing vehicles, I’ve been a celebrity and thrown parties, but as you age, you know better and do better.”

He stated that he overspent, was constantly surrounded by large groups of people, and paid the bill the majority of the time.

“I appeared wealthier than I was. Now that I look back, I realize how foolish I was,” he stated.

He said that he has now recognized his errors and is thriving as an entrepreneur.
