Despite Chiefs’ sluggish start, administration backs coach Arthur Zwane

Despite the team’s sluggish start to the current season, Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane enjoys the support of the administration.

Bobby Motaung, the manager of the Chiefs football team, pleaded with the fans to have patience with the coach and the players in an interview with Thabiso Mosia on SA FM.

According to Motaung, the management is aware that the team and coach are both in their early careers and should be given time to work over the first difficulties of representing Chiefs before being assessed.

Additionally, according to Motaung, this season is about having patience and realising that the new Chiefs players are still young and still finding their feet.

In addition, Motaung said that there is no such thing as immediate success in football when there is competition and that the Chierfs administration does not anticipate it.

Chiefs are now ranked ninth in the PSL with 11 points after eight league games played under Zwane’s direction.
