Dead Dog Found in London Canal with Weights Around Neck

…By Henry George for TDPel Media.

A dead English bull terrier named Sky was found in a canal in Greenford, west London with two barbell weights tied around her neck.

The RSPCA was notified about the incident in March but has been unable to determine how the dog ended up in the canal.

Sky was microchipped, and her previous owners confirmed that they sold her to a man in Southall.

The new owner said that he had given Sky away before Christmas but could not provide further details.

Sky was a young dog under two years of age and was described as a “lovable family pet.”

RSPCA inspector Dale Grant has appealed for information about Sky, saying that if someone knows who Sky belonged to, they should get in touch with the RSPCA.

Sky was a distinctive-looking dog, and someone must know something.

The incident is under investigation, and the RSPCA is hoping that anyone with information will come forward and help them understand how Sky ended up in the canal with weights tied around her neck.

Animal cruelty cases like this are always disheartening, and the RSPCA’s inability to determine how Sky ended up in the canal is particularly troubling.

The fact that she was a young and much-loved family pet only adds to the sadness of the situation.

The RSPCA is doing everything it can to investigate the matter and bring those responsible to justice.

However, it is important to remember that animal welfare is everyone’s responsibility, and we should all work together to prevent animal cruelty in our communities.
