Dayimani guarantees Stormers’ future

The Stormers have confirmed that their star loose forward Hacjivah Dayimani has extended his contract to at least 2025.

Since returning to the city of his birth in 2021, the lively Dayimani has made a significant impression, and he will have the opportunity to express himself further in a Stormers uniform.

He played a key role in the Stormers capturing the inaugural Vodacom United Rugby Championship title last season and has continued to improve this season with a couple of outstanding scrum-half performances.

Dayimani, a loose forward with excellent athletic ability, defies classification and brings his own style to everything he does for the Stormers.

Coach John Dobson expressed delight that Dayimani will contribute to the team’s future development.

“Hacjivah is a special player who brings something completely unique to our team, so we couldn’t be happier that he has extended his contract with us,” the Stormers head coach said.

“He keeps everyone on their toes on and off the field, and he is already a fan favorite at the Cape Town Stadium, so we anticipate that this will only increase in the upcoming seasons.”

Dayimani stated that he desires to continue to improve his game with the Stormers.

“The team environment here is phenomenal, and everyone is free to be themselves and express themselves, which is incredibly important to me,” he said.

Dayimani said, “There is still so much that we can accomplish together, and I really want to be a part of that, so I couldn’t be happier to extend my contract.”
