Danniella Westbrook, the former EastEnders star known for her role as Sam Mitchell, has announced that she is returning to the UK to take up a new job as Creative Talent Director at Social Ikon, a content platform for paying fans.
Westbrook took to Instagram to ask for accommodation in Essex or North London, saying she needed to move back to the UK in mid-May.
The 49-year-old had been staying abroad in the sunshine before signing the new work deal.
Westbrook had played the role of Sam Mitchell on the London-based soap from 1990 to 2000 and then on and off from 2009 until 2016.
Westbrook’s latest career move comes as she continues to recover from her latest facial surgery in Turkey.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate underwent reconstructive surgery to fix her collapsed face after years of substance abuse.
Westbrook’s representatives recently confirmed that the surgery had been successful and that the TV star was recovering well.
Westbrook is also planning her wedding to her jailed fiancé David, who proposed while behind bars.
