Amanda Holden in Talks to Join America’s Got Talent
According to reports, Amanda Holden is currently in top-secret talks with the bigwigs at America’s Got Talent.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge has already been on the set of the US version and has apparently fitted in very well with the other judges.
Amanda is also reportedly considering moving to the US permanently and has already put her UK home on the market.
She has been eyeing up universities in LA, New York, and Boston for her daughter, Lexi.
One of the reasons Amanda may be considering the move is due to the ongoing pay dispute between BGT bosses and judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda herself.
It has been reported that the pair are unhappy with their pay in comparison to male newcomer Bruno Tonioli.
Amanda is good friends with Simon Cowell, creator of America’s Got Talent, and it’s traditional for the show to have a British judge.
Sources claim that Amanda got on very well with the other judges on America’s Got Talent and that producers loved her.
Exciting Conversations
According to a source, Amanda is seriously considering making the move to the US. During the school holidays, she spent time in LA with her family and enjoyed it a lot.
Simon and his fiancée Lauren have been encouraging Amanda to make the move and enjoy the sun and blue skies permanently.
However, it remains to be seen whether Amanda will fly back from the States weekly for BGT, where she has been a judge since 2007.

Amanda recently revealed her gratitude to Simon Cowell and the BGT team for giving her a chance to show who she really is.
She added that she is eternally grateful for the opportunity and that she got a chance to change some of the perceptions people had of her.
