Confirmed Orlando Pirates moves and possible deals


With four victories in their first eight games of the 2017 PSL season, Orlando Pirates have had a successful start.

They have made some wise additions to the transfer industry, but there is still work to be done in this area.

Players for the Pirates who could still quit

  • The 25-year-old Sandile Mthethwa spent the previous season on loan at Chippa United, but hasn’t played a single minute.
  • Collins Makgaka, an attacking midfielder, has only appeared in 10 minutes this year.
  • Monnapule Saleng, a winger, spent the previous season on loan at Swallows, and another break from the team seems expected.
  • Tebogo Tlolane hasn’t played since being used as a full-back against the wrong man.
  • Ntsako Makhubela, a former offensive midfielder for Golden Arrows, is unpopular at Pirates.
  • Both Ghanaian Kwame Peprah and Zimbabwean Terrence Dvzukamanja are expected to depart.
