The last moments of a Colombian DJ have been captured on film, a day before she was reportedly battered and murdered by her Texas boyfriend.

He was arrested in Panama on Tuesday, two days after her body was found inside a suitcase in a dumpster in the Colombian capital city of Bogotá. Poulos is awaiting his extradition to Colombia
The video shows Valentina Trespalacios, 23, exiting a taxi with John Poulos, 35, early on Saturday morning, a day before she was discovered put inside a taped and locked suitcase that had been abandoned in the south side of Bogotá.

A homeless individual rummaging for recycling spotted the luggage around 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

A security camera captured Trespalacios holding Poulos’ hand as she walked down a hallway before approaching the Nexxus nightclub DJ booth for her set.

The young Colombian woman then met the DJ and several others behind the turntable, while Poulos, who apparently has three children, remained in the background.

Trespalacios concluded her performance shortly before 5 a.m., after which she was observed exiting the nightclub owner’s office while Poulos was in the restroom.

According to her pals, the pair took a cab ordered through a ride-sharing app and drove to the apartment that Poulos had rented on the north side of the capital city, where they relocated on Friday.

Poulos was apprehended Tuesday evening at the Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Panama, mere minutes before he was to board a Turkish Airlines aircraft to Istanbul, Turkey. He also had a ticket for a connecting trip from Istanbul to Montenegro, a country with which Colombia has no extradition pact.

Poulos had also purchased a flight from Panama City to So Paulo, Brazil, as part of his attempt to thwart Colombia’s worldwide manhunt. All of the tickets were purchased with cash to avoid leaving a paper trail.

The left side of Poulos’ face is scratched in a picture published by Panama’s immigration service, which may indicate that Trespalacios struck him while she was being abused.

The native of Wisconsin, who is reportedly married with three children, claimed officials he fled to Panama because the Medelln Cartel planned to kill him.

Valentina Trespalacios (pictured) dated John Poulos (shown) for eight months. It has been reported that he is married and has three children in the United States.

John Poulos (pictured) said investigators he fled Colombia for Panama because the Medelln Cartel planned to kill him. He also accused the cartel for the death of his Colombian DJ lover, Valentina Trespalacios.

In the Bogotá district of Los Cámbulos, a homeless guy was looking through a rubbish container when he discovered the suitcase containing Valentina Trespalacios’ body.

In addition, Poulos told authorities that the cartel was responsible for the death of Trespalacios.

El Tiempo reported that Trespalacios’ relatives claimed Poulos had ties to the Sinaloa Group, the Mexico-based trafficking cartel founded by the imprisoned drug leader Joaqun ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán.

After a judge granted the Office of the Attorney General’s request for Poulos’ extradition in relation to Trespalacios’ murder, high-ranking Colombian law enforcement officials travelled to Panamá City on Wednesday afternoon.

Poulos was returned to Colombia on Wednesday night after being returned to Colombian police.

El Tiempo has obtained a copy of the arrest order in which Colombian officials identify Poulos as the ‘alleged culprit of inflicting the horrific death of Valentina Trespalacios Hidalgo, who was found in a blue travel suitcase inside a rubbish receptacle in the municipality of Fontibón.’

Victoria Jiménez, a hairstylist, told DailyMail.com that Trespalacios met Poulos through an online dating app and that he planned to move to Colombia in February in order to marry her close friend.

According to the autopsy report, the Colombian DJ Valentina Trespalacios was strangled and battered to death.

John Poulos has a cut on the left side of his face in one of his mugshots, which may indicate that his girlfriend Valentina Trespalacios struggled for her life before she was murdered.

John Poulos purchased a ticket with Turkish Airlines to travel from Panama City, Panama to Istanbul, Turkey. Additionally, the 35-year-old Texan had a connecting trip to Montenegro.

Laura Hidalgo disclosed that her daughter dated Poulos for eight months. She claimed he had hired a private investigator to monitor her daughter after becoming envious of her daughter.

He was the one who injured my daughter, and he does not deserve to stay around as though nothing happened. I demand justice,” Hidalgo told the weekly magazine Semana. “It is not fair that a foreigner who comes to Colombia to delight a Colombian female ends himself in this situation. I hope that justice will be served in this situation. He was the final person to see her alive, and he did not need to harm her.

Noticias Caracol reported that Poulos visited Colombia three times in 2022. In May, he visited for one day before traveling to Cancn, Mexico with Trespalacios.

Anbal Fernández, the head of security in Bogotá, told La FM that investigators were investigating the possibility that a second guy was engaged in the heinous murder.
