A car has plowed into a gathering of 800 people at a Christmas market in Congleton, Cheshire.
This afternoon, emergency personnel were dispatched to the Congleton Christmas Market in response to reports of a car plowing into a crowd, which included families and young children.
A minimum of fifty miles per hour, according to eyewitnesses.
According to the police, no one was injured, and three suspects have been apprehended thus far.
According to Cheshire Police, the event does not appear to be related to terrorism.

Cheshire Police stated in a press release that the event occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m. and involved a silver Volkswagen Golf.
The automobile drove down the pedestrian-only section of Bridge Street, where a market was taking place, alarming customers and locals.
Soon after, the vehicle was discovered abandoned.
Three individuals were detained immediately and are currently in prison.
Cheshire Police has verified that officers remain at the area for visibility and reassurance as of this writing.
