Unnamed sources have reportedly revealed that a group of foreign spies recently busted by Australia’s intelligence agency, ASIO, were linked to Russia.
The spies were said to have posed as diplomats and operated in multiple locations, including the Russian embassy in Canberra.
They were allegedly working to recruit Australians with access to classified information to steal data. ASIO Director-General Mike Burgess revealed the group’s existence in a speech earlier this week, but did not attribute it to any specific country.

Since her breakup four nights prior, Ms. Bishop had not been seen in public until that moment. She made her first public appearance with Mr. Panton in 2014.
