Queen Elizabeth, according to Victoria Beckham, was “a tremendous source of inspiration” for “so many.”

Queen Elizabeth was “a huge source of inspiration” for “so many,” according to Victoria Beckham.

Prior to her state burial on Monday, September 19, the 48-year-old fashion designer delivered a moving homage to the late queen, who passed away on September 8 at the age of 96, calling her the “ultimate icon.”

“I’ve spent the past week pondering on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and how she was a strong source of inspiration, not just for me but for many many throughout the globe,” she said alongside images of Her Majesty on Instagram.

“The embodiment of elegance and the ultimate icon, she will live on forever in our hearts and imaginations.

“I extend my sincere sympathies to the royal family at this difficult time, and we join them in grieving the passing of our beloved king,” the speaker said.

The Spice Girl, also known as Posh Spice in the girl group, described meeting the queen with her bandmates Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Melanie C at The Royal Command Performance in 1997 as “one of her happiest experiences” on her Instagram Story.

David Beckham, Victoria’s former soccer star husband, stood in line for 13 hours last week to pay his respects to the late prince who was lying in state at Westminster Hall.

The 47-year-old sports great said he had erroneously believed that by getting in line early on Friday, September 16, he would have a shorter wait.

I assumed that arriving at two in the morning would make things a little bit calmer, he added. I was mistaken. Everyone was considering that.

“All ages are represented here. An 84-year-old woman was seen moving around. A 90-year-old guy was seen moving around. Everyone is eager to be there to share in this event and honor what Her Majesty has accomplished for us.

Beckham wore a suit because, according to Beckham, his grandpa Joseph West, an ardent supporter of the monarchy who passed away in 2009 at the age of 83, would have done the same.

As the captain of the England football team and recipient of the Queen’s OBE in 2003, Beckham underlined the significance of paying his respects.

“That was something that meant so much to us every time we stood there when we wore our Three Lion shirts, and I had my armband, and we sang God save our Queen,” he added. Every every time we performed it, it was unique.

So it seems to reason that today will be challenging. Because I believe everyone is experiencing it, it’s painful for the country and the whole globe. Our thoughts are with the family and, obviously, with everyone present at this time. Because it’s amazing to be here, to celebrate, and to hear everyone’s unique tales.
