President Tinubu had formally approached the Senate, seeking their endorsement for a military intervention against the military junta in Niger Republic, which regrettably was met with a refusal.

In a live session on Instagram, Burna Boy voiced his skepticism about the viability of such a war while Nigeria is grappling with the ongoing surge in fuel prices.

The artist, renowned for hits like ‘Stand Tall,’ advised Tinubu to prioritize resolving the pressing issue of escalating fuel costs after the sudden removal of subsidies.

Speaking in Pidgin English, Burna Boy humorously questioned the practicality of embarking on a battlefield when the fundamental concerns at home remain unaddressed.
