Bruce Lehrmann is determined to reveal every detail of his alleged rape trial in a book

It can be disclosed that Bruce Lehrmann intends to both study law and write a tell-all book about his experiences.

Sky News claimed on Wednesday night that the former political staffer met with journalist and biographer Andrew Urban to discuss a book.

“It’s in its infancy. I am unable to talk further, but any journalist or author would be interested in this topic,’ Urban told the network.

Bruce and I have met to discuss the notion of a book, but we have not yet begun writing it or examining its substance.

Mr. Urban told Sky that discussions are preliminary and he has yet to meet with a publisher.

Mr. Urban is a prolific author who has penned works on diverse topics, such as the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and the former crown prosecutor Margaret Cunneen.

In March 2019, former staff member Brittany Higgins accused Lehrmann of sexually assaulting her in Parliament House.

He has always maintained his innocence and entered a not-guilty plea throughout his trial last year. The trial of Lehrmann failed last year due to jury misbehavior.

The sexual assault charge against him was later dismissed due to concerns about Ms. Higgins’ mental state.

Paradoxically, Ms. Higgins and Mr. Lehrmann have similar plans.

She is studying law on the Gold Coast and has a book contract worth $325,000.

The Daily Mail Australia previously reported that the book agreement for Ms. Higgins may have to be put on hold until Lehrmann’s defamation cases against Channel 10 and news.com.au have been concluded.
