Tattoo artist revealed the most painful spots to get inked

A tattoo artist divulged the most excruciating spots to receive a tattoo, causing his followers to wince.

Spence, from Utah in the United States, specializes in thin line tattoos but has become known as the “tattoo pain guy” on his TikTok channel @inkedera.

Recently, he created a series of instructional films for folks seeking their first tattoo based on “pain level.”

One video ranked the “most painful region for your first tattoo,” beginning with the legs, on a scale of 1 to 10.

Spence ranks a tattoo on the lower calf as an eight out of ten, whereas an outer back, large-scale, or “spicy” underboob tattoo as a nine out of ten.

Certain tattoos are not for the faint of heart, especially if they are placed on sensitive places such as the wrist, ankle, or knee.

Yet fingers are the worst and most painful place to receive a tattoo.

Spence assigns a score of 15 out of 10 and adds, “No thanks.”

He also dispels a popular misconception about having a spine tattoo, stating, “Many believe getting a spine tattoo is painful, but it’s actually a 2 out of 10.”

Why people debate this is beyond me. Spine tattoos do not hurt.

And as a beginning, he advised getting a tattoo behind the ears because, according to his clients, it is not at all unpleasant.

One observer remarked, “Nice to know! I believed spine to be lethal. The hardest areas for me were the armpit and elbow.

A second individual stated, “I have a half-back tattoo and I fainted four times.”

A tattoo enthusiast stated, “My spine tattoo tickled.” “Just one of my 18 tattoos hurt, and that was on my foot.”

A fourth individual commented, “My first tattoo was a stick-and-poke on my finger, and it was indeed excruciating.”
