A British man was detained following allegations that he sexually abused a woman sitting next to him on a Ryanair flight from Liverpool to Majorca.
Air stewards radioed police from 35,000 feet when the woman, who is also British, reported he had groped her breasts and invited her to engage in sexual activity with him in the restroom.
The 35-year-old man was detained after the jet landed late Sunday night at Palma Airport.

After the male passenger engaged in inappropriate sexual innuendo with the young British woman, it is said that she was subjected to sexual abuse seconds before the plane landed.
Respected island daily Ultima Hora reported: ‘The man began touching her shoulder, and after she pulled his hand away, he abruptly touched one of her breasts over her clothing.

The woman stated that this act stunned her for a few seconds.
She requested assistance from the flight crew, who notified the Civil Guard. The man was taken into custody as soon as he arrived at Palma Airport.
