Britain offers to help Ukraine in war effort

Britain will provide Ukraine with precision-guided rockets with a range of up to 50 kilometres in order to counter Russia’s artillery arsenal.

Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has acknowledged that an undefined number of M270 launchers have been delivered.

Moscow has made victories in the east by flattening towns with its superior armaments before sending in its infantry.

Mr. Wallace stated: ‘As Russia’s tactics change, so must our support to Ukraine. These highly capable rocket systems will enable our Ukrainian friends to better protect themselves against Russia’s brutal use of long-range artillery.’

The initiatives enraged the Kremlin, which promised to intensify attacks in western Ukraine.

‘This pumping of Ukraine with weapons will bring more suffering to Ukraine, which is merely a tool in the hands of those countries that supply it with weapons,’ Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

Mr Zelensky, on the other hand, has advocated for even more heavy weapons, claiming that “the occupiers control about 20% of our area.”

He claimed that Russia had fired 15 cruise missiles on the previous day and had utilized a total of 2,478 missiles in its invasion of Ukraine.

Yesterday, Russian forces continued to pound the eastern city of Severodonetsk, where they are estimated to hold almost 80% of the city.
