Rapid Hubs: Ford offers dealer and customer help

PRETORIA, South Africa, January 19 of the year 2023: Ford South Africa is increasing its dedication to customer service by deploying new Rapid Hub teams in each of the country’s nine regions. In addition to complementing the launch of the Next-Generation Ranger, Ranger Raptor, and Everest, these Rapid Hubs will reach and serve Ford’s existing customers.

Rapid Hubs are the next stage in converting the ownership experience into one in which customers are treated like family. This project offers a more proactive approach to the maintenance and repair of client vehicles, putting the necessary resources and knowledge in place immediately if a dealer is unable to remedy a technical issue within the specified time period.

Each Rapid Hub is maintained by a team of Ford professionals on the ground consisting of a Zone Manager, Field Service Engineer, Rapid Hub Manufacturing Technician, Customer Relationship Centre, Dealer Sales Manager, Rapid Hub Lead, and a Hub Champion.

Rapid Hubs are the next stage in converting the ownership experience into one in which customers are treated like family.

Working as highly motivated teams as opposed to solitary individuals, they provide every Ford dealership with additional hands, assistance, and technical knowledge. These Rapid Hubs are intended to enable a variety of dealership solutions and provide constant communication from beginning to end.

Ford South Africa’s FCSD Sales and Field Operations Manager, Ashen Ramdhani, explains, “We want to ensure that our Next-Gen benchmark products come with an ownership experience that meets and exceeds our customers’ unique needs and expectations.” “With Rapid Hubs, we are successfully advancing communication, releasing processes within dealerships, and shortening and improving our response time.”

Rapid Hubs are innately equipped with the capacity to make rapid choices across departments and geographies. Additionally, resources can be utilized and distributed amongst hubs to improve service delivery at any given location and time.

Rapid Hubs are consequently geared to assist dealers in responding swiftly to clients regarding any car quality issues. The technology collects daily reports on all vehicles scheduled for service or maintenance at Ford dealerships, allowing teams to rapidly identify vehicles that are not repaired within the required timeframe. Immediate action is taken to reduce vehicle downtime, boost customer happiness, and guarantee the dealership has the necessary support on demand.

Ford Rapid Hubs combines a number of active channels and technologies for customer experience that have already increased customer satisfaction and decreased vehicle downtime.

Ford South Africa is notified within four hours of any Ranger, Ranger Raptor, or Everest entering a dealership for service, which is one of the numerous benefits of Rapid Hubs. They will then collaborate with the dealership to remedy the issue and propose a solution that provides the consumer with additional peace of mind. Daily, this data is also transmitted back to the individual assembly facilities so that production methods or quality issues can be corrected during the manufacturing process.
