Pippa Tinsley, 32, and her husband Luke, 33, have named all six of their children after something that is close to their hearts. Their children, who are between the ages of 15 and three, have been named after their favourite bands, films, and sports stars.
Pippa wanted one of her girls to have a Disney-inspired name, and after joking about it, they ended up naming their four-year-old daughter Bambi.
Their eldest son, Joel Scofield, 15, was named after the lead singer of Good Charlotte, Joel Madden, and the main character Michael Schofield from the TV show Prison Break.
Their eldest daughter, Autumn-Kyla, 13, was named in honour of Pippa’s Nanny Sara Houghton, 58, who loved the name. Sara-Lileigh, 11, was also named after the same nan and is pronounced ‘Sara-Lily.’ Pippa and her mum, Sara, came up with this unusual spelling to make it more unique.
Two of their boys, Hatton, six, and Rocky-Tyson, three, were named after real-life and fictional boxers. Hatton was named after British former professional boxer Ricky Hatton, while Rocky-Tyson was named after Sylvester Stallone’s character Rocky Balboa and two-time heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
Pippa had her first child, Joel, when she was 16 and was a huge fan of the American rock band Good Charlotte and the TV show Prison Break. Pippa is ‘obsessed’ with all things Disney and was determined to have one of her children named after a character from a film.
Earlier this month, Love Island star Molly-Mae announced the name of her daughter as Bambi, which caused many people to tag Pippa in stories about the name.
Pippa and Luke both love boxing, which is why they chose boxing-inspired names for two of their boys. Hatton had come to Pippa in a dream, and even though she was not keen on the name Rocky at first, she came around to it.
Autumn-Kyla and Sara-Lileigh have unique names that were inspired in different ways by their nanny, Pippa’s mum, Sara Houghton, who had a cancer scare.
