Bahumi Mhlongo, the daughter of Somizi Mhlongo, will join the likes of Linda Sokhula and Nandi Nyembe in the cast of the new dramatization.

Bahumi will portray Linda Sokhulu’s child opposite Sandile Mahlangu, who is most known for his roles in the How to Ruin Christmas series.

According to Actor Spaces, the drama follows the character played by Linda Sokhulu (Tina Hlatshawayo) who, after the loss of her husband Sbu, must learn a new way of living not just for her two daughters Sakhile (played by Sakhille Mahlangu) and Noxee (played by Bahumi Mhlongo), but also for herself.

“Having been married for 25 years, she spent all of her time balancing work and home, but now that her children are grown and her husband has passed away, it’s time for her to look inward and determine who she is and what makes her happy,” the article stated.

“On her new trip, she meets Rakwena (fondly referred to as ‘Ra’ and portrayed by Moeko), a handsome, much younger man who helps her rediscover herself and brings about a much-needed sexual awakening. How will her loved ones react to her new way of life?,” the article asked.

49-year-old Tina, who spent 25 years raising her children and working, must now examine herself to determine who she is and what makes her happy.

The show is created by Red Pepper Pictures and stars Hlubi Mboya Arnold, among others, and will premiere on 1Magic on February 3 at 21:30 as a risque new drama.
