As he is launched in front of the 37-year-blue old’s vehicle, he can see parked cars immediately in front of him.

Prosecutor Brian Simpson stated regarding the incident, ‘He lies there for approximately four and a half minutes before passersby assist him. He subsequently went to his new girlfriend’s residence and then to the hospital.

The Swansea Crown Court heard that the couple had split up four months prior to the September 2018 dispute.

However, he was released from the hospital without suffering any serious injuries.

The court was informed that Thomas was a registered nurse who is “highly valued” by her employer.

Judge Geraint Walters nevertheless cautioned the pair.

He stated, ‘You were both extremely intoxicated. This incident would not have occurred if that had not occurred. The truth is that you were together on the day that the red mist descended upon you.

There was a conflict between you. When he walks away, you turn the car toward him and drive away.

Thomas, of Birchgrove, Swansea, admitted to battery, assault resulting in bodily injury, and reckless driving.

She was given a six-month prison sentence with a two-year suspension and a 30-hour rehabilitation requirement.
