In a violent bar altercation, sickening footage captures the moment a man is knocked unconscious with a pool cue.
It is unknown what caused the commotion. CCTV purports to show a man wearing a beanie hurling a pool ball at other patrons following an altercation during a pleasant game on a night out.
A bystander transforms his cue into a weapon and delivers a nasty, full-force strike to the face.
The man in shorts, sneakers, and a hoodie falls lifeless to the ground as a crowd carrying cues and glasses rushes in.
The moment the man is struck in the face with a pool cue, causing him to fall unconscious on the ground.
The violence broke out at the Derby pub in South Shields soon before the New Year’s Eve holiday.
One partygoer remarked, “It was tense the entire night.” They were plenty by the pool table. Then, a large argument broke out, and the boy with the hat attacked everyone.
He snatched a ball from the table and hurled it at a member of the group seated at the table before moving on to a boy seated across the table.
I don’t believe he noticed someone standing next to him because he was utterly taken aback.
This boy just struck him in the head and knocked him out cold.

The man in the black T-shirt can then be seen swinging a pool cue at the man in the hat, striking him in the face and knocking him unconscious.
One man appears to throw a drink at the man in the beanie cap as he lies on the floor by the bar as the pandemonium continues.
Then it continued to go off. A few jabs were fired, and I believe he received another punch to the head while he was on the ground.
People were walking out in fear of being struck.
Then the boys simply fled. But it’s all captured on CCTV.’
The police were notified and rushed to the bar, but the combatants had escaped. No attacks were reported by anyone.
Northumbria Police informed Mail Online, “On the evening of 30 December 2022, we were notified of an altercation in a pub on Prince Edward Road in South Shields.”
Officers responded at the scene, but individuals involved had already fled, and no complaints of injuries were filed with police. The incident’s CCTV footage is being analyzed by officials, and investigations are ongoing.’

Another individual is depicted on the floor following the brawl, and those involved fled the bar before police arrived.
Following the altercation, police confirmed to MailOnline that no arrests had been made.
It’s not the first time CCTV in the bar has captured violent gang activity.
Ronnie Howard was brutally murdered in what was previously known as the Prince bar in May of 2016.
The 31-year-old father of two died of a cerebral hemorrhage after receiving two blows to the head. Michael Wilson was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison following a trial at Newcastle Crown Court.
