Ms. Rayner stated that after three weeks of Ms. Truss’s premiership, the markets were “in free fall” as she made the concluding address at Labour’s annual conference.

She claimed that the Prime Minister and Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng were attempting to “throw us into anarchy in pursuit of their dogma.”

She argued that Labour’s four-day conference in Liverpool demonstrated to voters that the party was “ready to govern.”

Ms. Rayner, who attended a drunken karaoke party last night, concluded the conference with a speech laced with jokes and jabs at the Conservatives.

Sir Keir Starmer presented his leader’s speech during yesterday’s penultimate day of the conference; nevertheless, she was left to finish the event, a change from previous years.

Ms. Rayner told Labour members that it was a “honor” to deliver the final address before the traditional singing of the party’s song, “Red Flag.”

“To end the week in the same manner as John Prescott did in his day, but I look better in a dress.” I intend to make dad proud,’ she joked.

She said, “However, there is one aspect of our history I will never celebrate: losing elections.”

Imagine how it will feel to meet in this room a few years from now, following the tenure of a Labour government.

Ms. Rayner spoke shortly after the Bank of England’s stunning announcement that it will purchase long-term government debt in an effort to calm recent market turmoil.

As the City processed the most recent event since Mr. Kwarteng’s tax-cutting mini-Budget last week, Ms. Rayner attacked the Conservatives’ performance in government.

“Protector of the free market?” The market is crashing. The green and beautiful land of England? She added, “Frack it!”

From the party of stability to the party that causes earthquakes. From the business party to a rebuke from the IMF.’

Mr. Johnson was photographed running this week, and his estranged former assistant Dominic Cummings claimed he was contemplating a comeback.

During the tumultuous beginning of Ms. Truss’s leadership, the Labour deputy leader asserted that Ms. Truss’s predecessor, Mr. Johnson, was plotting a political comeback.

She stated, “I suppose he’ll be sitting on the bench plotting his return, with a twinkle in his eye, thinking, “I wasn’t that horrible after all…was I?” That is a sad state of affairs.

In recognition of Labour’s lengthy absence from office, Ms. Rayner acknowledged that elections frequently leave voters feeling they must choose between “heart and head” and “values and competence.”

Insinuating that Labour’s leadership is gaining confidence, she added: ‘I say to people watching at home – this week we have demonstrated that this is a decision you will never have to make.

This past week, the Conservatives have demonstrated the same. No longer do the Conservatives pretend to be competent and stable.

In pursuit of their beliefs, today’s Tories will lead us into catastrophe.

Later, Mr. Johnson’s estranged former main adviser, Dominic Cummings, added to rumors that the former prime minister was planning a comeback.

He asserted that ‘one of the reasons holding back’ Tory MPs from another leadership challenge, following the ouster of Ms. Truss, was a ‘fear’ that their move could allow Mr. Johnson to ‘get back in.’

The former No. 10 assistant added that he could “guarantee” Mr. Johnson is considering a comeback “right now.”
