He asserts that his prison cell is “bugged.”

Andrew Tate, who is presently imprisoned in Romania on sex-trafficking charges, is complaining about the supposedly deplorable circumstances in his cell, which he alleges is dark and plagued with cockroaches and lice.

According to Jam Press, the former kickboxer vented his frustrations in an email to his followers after a Romanian judge recently determined that he would remain in imprisonment for another month.

The British-American billionaire wrote to his website’s followers in an email headlined “My first email from prison”: “They are attempting to break me. Confined to a chamber without any illumination.”

“My only friends at night are cockroaches, lice, and bed bugs,” bemoaned Tate, 36, who has over 4.7 million Twitter followers but has been banned from various social media networks for allegedly promoting hate speech and misogynistic beliefs.

Andrew Tate (3rd R) and Tristan Tate (2nd R) enter handcuffed and taken by police at a courthouse in Bucharest on January 10, 2023 for a court hearing on their appeal against pre-trial detention for alleged human trafficking, rape, and criminal gang formation.

Tate maintains that he is a model prisoner despite apparently horrible living conditions.

“When the guards bring me to and from the courtroom, I remain utterly respectful,” said the ex-fighter, adding that the guards know he is “innocent” despite efforts by the authorities to “pour hatred into my heart.”

Tate, 36, and Tristan, his brother, were arrested in Bucharest on December 29 alongside two Romanian women on suspicion of rape and participation in a criminal ring that exploited women to make pornographic content.

On the same day, police raids uncovered heaps of cash, fancy timepieces, and even firearms, a hatchet, and swords.

On Saturday, investigators were seen hauling a fleet of luxury supercars from the Tate brothers’ home on the outskirts of town.

Although the siblings were initially imprisoned for only one month, Romanian authorities have ordered that they will remain in custody until February 27.

As no formal charges have been filed, neither Andrew nor Tristan have entered into a plea bargain, despite appealing their detention last week without success.

Tate’s defense counsel Constantin Ioan Gliga has since criticized the ruling as “unjustified and totally exaggerated,” arguing that the defendants were punished for their beliefs rather than “what they actually did in their private lives.”

Tate’s head of security, Bogdan Stancu, previously referred to the accusations of the influencer as “stupid” for assuming they would become “his next wife.”

Tate, meantime, has maintained his innocence claims. “I’m in detention while they’search’ for evidence,” the humiliated social media star tweeted on Thursday. Because we are innocent, they will never find evidence of our guilt.

I am being detained while they “look” for evidence.

Because we are innocent, they will never find evidence of our guilt.

They have and will continue to disregard and discard any testimony or factual evidence proving our innocence.

My case does not hinge on the truth.

This relates to Politics. https://t.co/1XExhveYNb

He continued, “They have ignored and will continue to disregard any testimony or hard evidence proving our innocence.”

“My case does not hinge on the truth. This relates to politics.”
