It was reported tonight that Princes William and Harry will attend a special vigil in honor of the Queen on Saturday.

Reportedly, the Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex will join the Queen’s six other grandchildren at Westminster Hall for a 15-minute vigil.

According to reports, the eight grandchildren will stand in silence alongside Her Majesty’s coffin, mirroring the Princes’ Vigil.

Earlier this week, King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward stood guard during the special vigil at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh.

Charles, Anne, Andrew, and Edward will repeat the vigil at Westminster Hall on Friday evening, followed by a separate event on Saturday involving the grandkids.

And, according to The Mirror, the Duke of Sussex will be permitted to wear military dress during the event.

According to reports, Prince Harry has been granted special permission to wear military colors to the vigil.

However Prince Andrew, who also stepped back frontline royal duties in the wake of the Jeffrey Epstein sex scandal, is set to be given special dispensation to wear his colours on Friday night

Since the Queen’s passing, the Duke of Sussex has not been permitted to wear his military uniform at any public appearances.

When he retreated as a front-line royal in the aftermath of Megxit, he also retreated from his military roles.

Ex-soldiers and -women are not permitted to wear their uniforms after leaving the military.

Prince Harry, who served in the British army for ten years, including two tours in Afghanistan, has thus far attended public engagements wearing a mourning suit with military medals.
