Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez came dangerously close to attacking a right-wing troll who had been groping her on the Capitol steps and had called her his “favorite big booty Latina.”
On Wednesday, notorious provocateur Alex Stein, 35, was waiting on the Capitol’s steps to film the Democrat from New York Representative while catcalling her and saying that she “intended to kill babies but she’s still gorgeous.”
Police watched the discussion as the lawmaker and her aide approached the stairs.
He called and said, “I love you, AOC, you’re my favorite!” You look stunning in that dress, I must say.
The 32-year-old turned to face him after he made a lewd remark about her figure, drawing her attention.
To physically stop her from acting foolishly, the assistant put her hand on her chest.
Instead, Ocasio-Cortez climbed up the stairs while humorously taking a picture and waving a peace sign.
Stein exclaims once again as she reaches the top of the stairs, “Look how lovely she looks in that dress.
“‘Whooo. I adore AOC. Hot like a tamale, hot.
Ocasio-Cortez later described the event on Twitter, writing, “I was actually walking over to deck him because if no one will defend us then I’ll do it myself, but I needed to catch a vote more than a case today.”
When she released a photo of his face and denounced him for spewing “repulsive crap in front of an officer who let him continue,” the congresswoman called the incident “very disgusting.”
She later removed the tweet nevertheless, not wanting to draw attention to a man who was “seeking radical celebrity.”
Working for an organization that publicly permitted this is unfortunate, but talking about it simply encourages more, she continued. Simply really sad.
She chose to repost Stein’s footage of the incident instead.
Stein told Business Insider that he would ‘love to date’ Ocasio-Cortez and that he found her to be ‘extremely attractive’ when contacted for comment.
Stein said that he is “really pretty hygienic” in response to a question regarding the lawmaker’s comment that he found the occurrence to be “very repulsive.”
Alex Stein is a far-right activist, social media celebrity, and contributor to Blaze TV who is known for inciting absurd situations for online material.
He gained some notoriety for himself by rapping about “placing a bullet in Putin’s skull” during a March meeting of a Texas city council.
On Wednesday, Stein did not simply harass Ocasio-Cortez on the Capitol steps. In a video he posted, he called Rep.
Adam Kinzinger a “false RINO Republican,” a “scumbag,” and other derogatory terms.
At a GOP conference in Texas in June, he got into a fight with Rep. Dan Crenshaw, calling him a “eyepatch McCain” and a “globalist RINO.”
The congressman responded by tweeting, “This is what happens when angry little boys like [Alex Stein] don’t grow up and can’t get girlfriends.”
