After Trump’s tweet, Greta Thunberg needed security, never drinks, and struggles with romance

Greta Thunberg has opened up about her typical adolescent life, revealing that she has never been drunk and is anxious about romantic relationships out of a fear of becoming vulnerable.

The 19-year-old Swedish climate activist explained that she is extremely conscientious of everything she does, as she lives completely on a student grant.

While she prefers to walk rather than take taxis, she has made one exception after Donald Trump’s public attack on her, when she was required to have security guards.

When Thunberg was voted Time’s Person of the Year in 2019, President Trump tweeted, following her address to the United Nations General Assembly, “She seems to be a very happy young girl with a bright and wonderful future.” How lovely to see!’

Unsurprisingly, Thunberg, who was 17 at the time, was bombarded with death threats and media attention, leading her to hire security.

Thunberg had her revenge, however, when Trump was evicted from the White House, writing, ‘He appears like a really happy elderly man with a bright and fantastic future ahead of him. How lovely to see!’

Thunberg acknowledged to Times Magazine that she prefers to walk home late at night rather than hire a taxi.

She said: ‘I always walk. Perhaps I should be more careful… I should probably be more cautious. People suggest that I should.

There was a brief time when I employed security guards, lasting barely a few days.

The three-time nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize also stated that she does not drink and has never been intoxicated.

She declared, “I’d never go out drinking… I don’t sure if I would never do something stupid because I’m not that type of person or because I don’t want to be “seen.” I suppose that it might be both.

She states that one of the reasons behind this is that she does not want someone to brag about being the first to get her intoxicated.

She expressed the same fear to the Times regarding romantic connections.

If I approach them, you will be more vulnerable. Therefore, people look up to you, but you are also significantly more susceptible,’ she said.

Thunberg’s playlist includes Queen’s Somebody to Love; KC and the Sunshine Band’s Billie Jean; KC and the Sunshine Band’s Blame It on the Boogie; and Blame It on the Boogie or Should I Stay or Should I Go.

No, she told the Times interviewer when asked if she had ever reached out to other superstars who rose to fame as teenagers, such as Billie Eilish or Lily Allen.

“It’s challenging because, in a sense, I feel like I’m simply an activist – we know how to organize a strike and how to communicate with politicians.

On the other hand, my perspective differs greatly from that of other campaigners. Very few people have both the experience of being a grass-roots activist and being trailed by paparazzi.

Someone recently informed me that I am an influencer, which I find offensive.

Thunberg, who is still in school, stated that her least favorite subject in school was economics because it is “something that we humans created and now revere.”

The activist is scheduled to publish her debut book, The Climate Book, on October 27. It is designed to be a guide for understanding what is happening in the world, why it is occurring, and how to change it.

Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization; Saleemul Huq, director of the International Centre for Climate Change and Development; Silpa Kaza of the World Bank; and economist Thomas Piketty, among others, have contributed to the book on their respective fields of expertise.

She states that all earnings from the book would be donated to charity, and while it ‘would be lovely to have money,’ she intends to spark discussion instead.

Thunberg, who lives off of school loans, stated that people would be “outraged” if she received compensation for her position.

She stated, “I believe we are morally obligated to be activists, but you can’t actually make a life doing it.”

When it comes to musicians and influencers, they can make money without angering the public, but I cannot.

The activist acknowledged that her financial status is “not sustainable” and revealed that she resides in a friend’s flat because all addresses in Sweden are public.

Regarding her future, she stated, “Sometimes I find myself wondering, “What am I doing with my life?” And it concludes with, “I cannot make any predictions. Let’s vibe! “She stated,
