Jeremy Renner is recovering from his bizarre snowplow accident that occurred on January 1st.
Tuesday, his sister Kym Renner provided an update on his status, telling People, “We are overjoyed with his improvement.”
She stated, “If anyone knows Jeremy, they know he is a fighter and does not play games.”
“He is exceeding all progress targets. We could not feel more optimistic about the future,” added Kym.
At his home in Reno, Nevada, the Marvel actor, 52, ran over his own leg with a Kassbohrer PistenBully snowplow.
He was taken to the hospital after losing a significant amount of blood and being transported there by helicopter.

The event occurred while the two-time Oscar nominee was assisting a stranded driver, the mayor of Reno disclosed last week.
Mayor Hillary Schieve told the Reno-Gazette Journal, “He was assisting a stranded individual in the snow.” “He is constantly assisting others.”
Samantha Mast, Renner’s publicist, reported on January 2 that he was recovering in the intensive care unit (ICU) after undergoing surgery for his wounds, which included “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.”

After undergoing surgery, Renner posted a selfie from his hospital bed and thanked his followers for their support.
“I appreciate everyone’s kind words. I am currently too confused to type. But I send you all my love,” he wrote in the post.
On January 7, the “Mayor of Kingstown” actor celebrated his 52nd birthday while recuperating.
The Base Chicago, a young intellectual and athletic development program, produced a special birthday tribute for him and shared it on his Instagram Stories.
“Sending birthday greetings! to @jeremyrenner. Have a wonderful day Sending our #thebaseway,” the caption of the photo stated.
