A taxi collision in Durban leaves 11 people injured

At the intersection of Gale Street and Canada Road in Durban, serious cab accidents were the cause of an ALS paramedic response.

When they arrived, they saw that the taxi had left the road, struck a pedestrian on the sidewalk, and had come to rest against a building housing a business.

Upon swift triage, it was discovered that 11 people had suffered various injuries. To help, more ambulances and paramedics trained in advanced life support were called. The injured people suffered from mild to severe injuries.

All of the victims were stabilised by ALS paramedics and EMRS before being taken to different hospitals for the additional care they needed.
