At his graduating ceremony, a Canadian High School graduate engaged his principal in a lightsaber duel and prevailed.

You are an elderly man with meager abilities, as Darth Vader once said.

At the graduation ceremony at Heritage Woods Secondary School in June, Hunter Wark-Pantoja, 18, of Port Moody, British Columbia, took out two lightsabers and seemed to be ready for fight.

Pantoja took out an orange lightsaber to the excitement of the audience and presented it to his principal Todd Clerkson before taking out a purple one for himself and starting the fight.

Before tapping sticks, the two wind up their lightsabers and swing them in a circular manner.

Before Pantoja makes the fatal move, slipping the lightsaber between Clerkson’s arm and side, both men spread their arms wide and draw back their swords in a dramatic moment of tension.

After delivering the decisive hit, Pantoja emerged victorious. According to reports, the Star Wars fanatic usually brought lightsabers to school on May 4 to honor the fandom holiday.

Before Pantoja collected his diploma and left the stage, they exchanged hugs.

According to Clerkson, “He is a Star Wars aficionado and asked me the day before graduation if he might carry a lightsaber on stage.”

Pantoja said that his principal had said “Maybe” in response to his question earlier this year about bringing one to his graduation.

According to the Good News Network, he said, “So I definitely took that as a yes.”

According to Clerkson, “He shocked me on stage by producing a second lightsaber, which led to a great impromptu combat between us.”

Pantoja had requested early in the academic year to bring a lightsaber to graduation, but Clerkson (pictured) was startled when the kid delivered two.

He told Good News Network, “There couldn’t have been a greater way to graduate” since “the whole audience was yelling and cheering.”

Pantoja was “always a huge Star Wars fan,” according to Joey Aconley, the graduate’s buddy who produced the video, and each May 4 he would bring lightsabers to class.

We had been talking one day about doing something on stage at the graduation, but when he performed it, we all yelled. Aconley told Good News Network, “We shouted so loud for him.

At the graduation ceremony, which was conducted at Simon Fraser University, more than 300 graduates crossed the stage to get their certificates.
