A Central Coast man has been arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with a 14-year old girl

After being detained by sex crime detectives, an alleged paedophile was shown on camera limping along the street before he could not fit inside their police van.

The Central Coast man is accused of sending her graphic internet communications to a girl he believed to be 14 years old.

The 50-year-old allegedly set up a rendezvous with her for sex as well.

Last month, detectives from Sydney’s north-Child west’s Abuse and Sex Crime Squad started corresponding online with the man.

Police raised his residence and seized computer storage devices after seizing him on Thursday while he was walking the streets of Tuggerah.

The man is seen being dragged away by the arm in the arrest video, but he has trouble keeping up with the cop and is made to stutter along the street.

He then struggles to get into the police van’s back.

Police will claim in court that the guy willingly engaged in sexually explicit chats about what he wanted to do to the youngster because he thought he was communicating with a 14-year-old female.

The man was transported to Wyong Police Station where he was accused of using a carriage service to obtain a minor for sex.

He was denied bail and told to show up in court on Friday in Wyong.
