A British woman is found tethered next to her dead dog in St. Lucia

In St. Lucia, a British lady was found dead, and the elderly woman’s body was found tied up in a pool of blood next to her dead dog.

Early on Saturday morning, Diana Theodore, 72, was found at her home in Morne Sion, Choiseul.

The mother-of-one and community leader had lived in St. Lucia for more than 30 years before she went missing, according to a friend.

He returned to us and said he hasn’t seen her, so we all started looking for her but couldn’t locate her, a local stated.

We all set out to seek for her since we knew she was at home. It is unusual for her to disappear from view in this little community. She was pleasant and has been a resident of Morne Sion for a while.

Theodore was discovered bound under her bed in a pool of blood with a wound on her skull after a protracted police search.

In the home, her dog was also discovered dead.

She was a really kind lady, according to a different local, and she always had her teeth showing when she was seen.

She is such a wonderful woman to have been treated in that manner,

“She is such a wonderful person and did not deserve this at all,” everyone is simply shocked and devastated. That kind of thing doesn’t happen in Choiseul.

Her daughter works in the UK as a university professor, and Theodore left the UK many years ago to dwell in St. Lucia where she was a community volunteer.

St. Lucia police said that they are looking into the murder.

They stated: “We received a report early this morning regarding a lady and her dog who were discovered deceased in her residence and are urgently checking into this.”

The Saint Lucia National Trust (SLNT) has expressed sympathy to the deceased’s family and described the woman’s passing as terrible and unexpected.

“Diana was an ardent and outspoken defender of Saint Lucia’s natural and cultural heritage,” they said.

She was a long-time Trust member who also served on Council. She often provided her views, worries, and guidance on matters pertaining to conservation and public interest.

Diana will be deeply missed, according to a statement from the SLNT.
